Taylor Smith & Taylor Chelsea Chintz Teapot w/ Lid Vogue 1940s Vintage USA

Beautiful vintage Taylor, Smith & Taylor teapot in the Chelsea Chintz pattern, featuring an ivory/cream background covered with burgundy floral vines, green leaves and cheerful yellow floral accents.  This charming teapot is made in the distinctive Vogue shape with a softly lobed body, coordinating fitted lid, decorative floral finial, sculpted loop handle and gracefully shaped spout.  Chelsea Chintz is a discontinued Taylor, Smith & Taylor pattern dating to the 1940s and is a wonderful find for collectors of vintage American dinnerware, floral chintz pottery and cottage-style kitchen décor.  Exterior is in very good vintage condition and displays beautifully, with vibrant floral decoration and a glossy finish. Age-related crazing is present, with the most noticeable crazing and discoloration/staining occurring on the interior. Light wear consistent with age and use is present.
