A luxurious Wajima lacquerware sake cup set.
Features the distinctive Wajima lacquerware technique of Chinkin (gold inlay), where lacquer is carved and gold is applied to the carved areas, creating very ornate designs.
Daikokuten (God of Wealth) is depicted on the largest cup, with the cups decreasing in size sequentially, illustrating the Seven Gods of Fortune.
When displayed on an entryway table or desk, it creates a very elegant atmosphere.
The item is in beautiful condition, comparable to unused.
However, as shown in the photos towards the end, there is a crack on the inside of the stand.
This area is usually hidden by the lid, so it is not visible during normal use.
