Vintage Hand Blown Cordial Glasses Pressed Stem Clear Glass 4" c.1950s
Unmarked
Vintage hand blown cordial / liqueur glasses, approximately 4 inches tall. The bowls are hand blown, showing natural variation and slight waviness, while the stems are pressed glass with a visible mold seam. The feet are hand blown as well. This mixed construction method was commonly used in mid-20th-century glass production to speed manufacturing while retaining a hand-finished look. Likely date of manufacture is circa 1950s to early 1960s based on the pressed stem seam, smooth snapped pontil, and stacked-ring foot style. Clear glass with a simple, elegant form suitable for cordials, aperitifs, or small dessert wines. Condition is very good vintage condition. No cracks or chips noted. Minor air bubbles and variations are present from the hand blown process and are not defects. Approximate measurements: 4 inches tall, base approximately 2 inches in diameter. Listing is for the set shown in photos. Please review images carefully as they are part of the description. From a smoke free home!
