Purpose: This USB to serial cable converts a USB connector to a serial connector, enabling connection between an RS232 serial terminal and a PC. Even with PCs that only have USB ports, you can connect to barcode readers, printers, cash registers, modems, surveillance cameras, scanners, etc., equipped with DB9 pin connectors.
Wide OS Compatibility: Built-in high-performance PL2303 chipset, compatible with a wide range of systems including Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP/2000, Mac OS X 10.6 and later, and Linux OS.
Easy to Use: No driver installation required for Windows 10/8.1/8 and Linux OS; simply plug and play. For other systems, a driver CD with the latest version is included. It can also be easily downloaded for free from the UGREEN website.
High-Speed Data Transfer: Utilizes premium cables for maximum performance, 24K gold-plated connectors, tinned copper wire, and triple shielding to ensure a top data transfer rate of 1Mbps. Powered via USB port, no external power supply needed. Programmable baud rate can be increased from 75bps to 128000bps for efficient operation.
