Description
Vintage set of 4 matching J. & G. Meakin Royal Staffordshire Ironstone plates, made in England. Features a detailed brown transferware village scene with Tudor-style buildings, horse-drawn carriage, figures, and an ornate floral border. The rich brown and creamy white color combination has a classic English country look perfect for cottage, traditional, farmhouse, or vintage-inspired table settings. Backstamp reads Royal Staffordshire / Staffordshire / Ironstone / by J. & G. Meakin / England. Pre-owned vintage condition. From the photos, the transfer designs remain beautifully detailed and I don’t see any obvious major chips or cracks. Minor age-related wear may be present, so buyers should review all photos as part of the description. Wonderful for an English transferware collection, vintage tablescape, plate wall, cottage decor, or replacement pieces.
