Daiwa Sealine SEALINE 400 ★ Available for shipment with left-hand handle ★ Maintained

This is a used Daiwa SEELINE 400, a legendary reel released in 1975.
Its gold body, similar to the Penn International, was popular. The size is comparable to a Senator 4/0 class.
It's ideal for targeting large fish from remote islands and for light trolling.
Left-hand retrieve is possible, but requires disassembly of the mechanical parts.
However, the drag is a simple RL system that only tightens clockwise.
This modification is not recommended for amateurs, and at the time of sale, switching between right and left-hand retrieve required sending the reel back to the manufacturer.
If desired, we can ship it in a left-hand retrieve configuration.
The reel has been disassembled, cleaned, and serviced due to lubricant degradation.
The drag has been treated with Shimano products, and the rotating parts have been finished with U.S.A. Synco Chemical extreme pressure grease.
The large-diameter star drag has also been cleaned and reassembled, ensuring smooth operation.
There is no significant damage, and the condition is good.
