Hakkaisan Stone, Genuine Black Stone, Display Stone, Suiseki, with Zelkova Wood Base

Thank you for looking.

This is a listing for a Hakkaisan stone.
Among Hakkaisan stones, which are often landscape stones, this is a very rare figure stone.
It is interpreted as a nun or monk bowing with hands clasped, and the characteristic large cracks of Hakkaisan stones form the hollow in the neck area, which is the key feature of this figure stone.
Also, while many Hakkaisan stones have a bluish-black hue, this stone is a hon-maguro (true black) stone, considered the highest grade.
It appears to be quite hard, and areas with a glossy sheen can be observed due to long-term handling.
Upon close inspection, there are no signs of processing, and even the bottom surface has a natural chipped appearance, rounded by river abrasion.
It also has a long history of ownership, and comes with a very old zelkova wood base.
The base, known as mawari-ashi (surrounding feet) style, which is typical for figure stones and lacks distinct feet, enhances the stone's appeal.

How about adding it to your collection?
