Description
Vintage Pennsylvania Railroad? Rental Pillow case The image shows a vintage pillowcase marked P.R.R. PILLOW RENTAL 25¢. P.R.R. likely refers to the Pennsylvania Railroad, a major American railroad company that operated from the mid-19th century until 1968. The pillowcases were part of a rental service for passengers, who could rent a clean pillow for a small fee during their journey. This marking indicates that the pillow was available for rental on board trains or in facilities operated by the Pennsylvania Railroad, with a rental fee of 25 cents. Has some staining and small holes, see pics
